„Me, the Instrument”

– an experiment between music and theatre –

A woman surrounded by multiple saxophones, a keyboard, an accordion… a musical playground in constant fluid motion. Her female body, just like her voice, is another musical device. Sometimes her body and voice merge and a new instrument forms.
In this her first solo show, performer and musician, Conny Ottinger explores her relationship with the audience and the layers of her identity that become strongest when expressed through sound and music.
This is a piece of musical theatre where the performer is both a player and an instrument in a very intimate and uplifting experiment, both humorous and moving.
