Wolfgang Nestler’s installation at Kunstraum Krüger is full of energetic input to receive,
to explore, to experiment, to move, to resonate.

Musician Conny Ottinger exposes herself to that speaking world and lets us participate in her encounter with Wolfgang Nestler’s visual inspiration and his dialogue with Sophie Taeuber.

“I sit at the round table.
I don’t do anything. I wait. I listen. I follow.

The big clasp gets a movement impulse.
It swings with itself in duet.

I keep eye contact with Sophie’s doll.
I open my mouth, listen to the doll, and it sings.

The force of the large disc and its tenderness fascinate me.
Then I watch and play the circular score…”
